Hoppy Meadows Rabbitry - HOME

Hoppy Meadows is a family owned Rabbitry. We are located in Schenectady, New York, which is located 20 minutes outside of Albany. We really enjoy spending time with our bunnies and watching them grow. We specialize in Holland Lops and Mini Lops which are sweet and are very enjoyable to have. We are an American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) recognized rabbitry and current members of members of the Holland Lop Rabbitry Specialty Club (HLRSC) and American Mini Lop Rabbit Club (AMLRC).

Holland lops are a dwarf breed that will weigh between 2-4 lbs when they reach maturity. They have a lifespan of 7-14 years. Holland lops got their start in the 1950's in the Netherlands. The colors we carry are Black,broken black, Blue, Red, Orange, Torts and Broken Torts.

Mini Lop are a medium-sized rabbit and can live between 5 - 10 years. They originated in Germany when a German Lop was bred with a small Chinchilla rabbit. Mini lops were accepted into the ARBA by Herby Dyke in 1980. The colors we carry of this breed are orange, broken orange, broken black and tri-colored.

We breed purebred pedigreed Holland Lops and Mini Lops and strive to breed to the ARBA Standard Of Perfection for both breeds. Our main goal is to improved the quality of our line, to provide show quality rabbits with excellent temperaments.
