We do not sell or take deposits for rabbits under 8 weeks old.
We as the breeder can refuse a sale to anyone at any time. These are our pets so we need to ensure they are going to great homes. If you inquire about a bunny and no money has been put down, that bunny is still for sale. Example: if you email and are interested in a bunny but have not put a deposit down on him/her, it's still available. Our rabbits are sold on a first come, first serve basis.
A Non-Refundable deposit of 50% of the rabbits sales price is required to hold a rabbit. The non-refundable deposit will be applied toward the total amount owed for the bunny. The remaining balance is due at the time of pick-up.
The deposit will ONLY be refunded if we cancel the sale for any reason. If you simply change your mind about that particular rabbit, no longer want the rabbit or if you fail to pick up the bunny on the agreed-upon pick-up date, your deposit will not be refunded and will be considered a donation to be applied towards bunny feed/housing. Please be certain that you are ready for a bunny before you make a deposit.
We do NOT ship rabbits. They must be picked up at the arranged meeting place, which will be within Rotterdam, NY.
Rabbits must be paid for in full before leaving our care. We accept cash and PayPal.
Youth under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at the time of purchase. You will be given basic instructions on handling at pick-up. Bring a carrier to transport your rabbit home.
After the bunny(s) leaves our facility, you are responsible for its health and well-being. This means that you will provide each rabbit with a clean cage/hutch, fresh food and water daily, regular nail trimming, and provide appropriate attention and exercise. As well as seeking veterinary assistance if necessary.
If you are no longer able to care for a rabbit purchased from us, we will gladly take it back. No refund will be given. You can donate the cage/hutch back with the rabbit to increase the chances of finding a new home for the rabbit. We guarantee that, to the best of our knowledge at the time you pick up your bunny, it will be in good health. Upon pickup, your bunny will be examined so that you can see clear eyes/nose (no signs of illness), top teeth are over the bottom teeth (no signs of malocclusion), and how the gender was determined.
Baby bunnies are sensitive to stress and food changes. Minimizing stress (other pets, rough play, startling noises, etc), washing hands/cages/food dishes frequently, and keeping your bunny on pellets and high quality hay are all important, especially the first months home.

We do our best to accurately assess gender, color, and quality, but you are responsible for approving the rabbit before completing the purchase. It can be very difficult to tell a baby bunny's gender due to small size and the differences in how some babies develop. While we're generally quite accurate, mistakes identifying gender can occur when purchasing a baby bunny.
